I’ll try and write up/make a video review of the game in the next few days, but so far its very very good. Clearly a love letter to the various golden ages of rallying.

It looks like a silly arcade racer, but it plays more like a sim title. You have to slow down for corners and weight transfer is very important, though it’s not as technical as a full on rally sim such as Dirt 2 or WRC 9.

The game is oozing with charm however, and I love how it skirts various licenses in clever ways. One of your opponents is named Paddy Kirkhop, while the cars are named things like “Das Uberwhip” (BMW M1) and “Turb Brick” (Volvo 240.)

It’s well worth checking out.

That was an awesome trailer, though sadly I don’t have 22 buck to fork over yet (and even still, that price seems kind of steep . Your review may have to sway me to cough up the dough).

I believe there is a demo on steam if you want to play around and see if the physics are to your liking.

Yeah, they mess me up a little bit, it’s hard for me to just ignore them. I nstead I try not to hit them, which is a mistake. But they’re cute, i’m glad they’re in the game.

Almost running people over has never been more cute, lol. Can you actually hit them though? I think it would go better with the look and overall vibe of the game if they always managed to get out of the way no matter what.

they just kind of scoot around your car when you do manage to hit them, there’s no carnage or anything.

looked awesome, got the demo. but the game play looking like an arcade but playing like a sim wasnt my favourite.
